The nice thing with racing is that there are many skills that cross over from karting to Formula 1. There are different styles of racing and you might just need to find the one that fits you. Meeting Senna
Senna was born in 2008 and started racing in early 2017 when our local indoor kart racing center, SyKart; allowed him to race. Senna wasn’t the fastest racer in the beginning but there were a lot of young racers that were competitive enough to keep him wanting to go back and do better. His first ever league, with only a handful of session to practice with, got progressively better throughout the season. In his first league he didn’t win any races but he did have a couple of second place finishes and the rest were third or lower. That didn’t stop him from continuing to want to go back and want to learn the art of racing indoor karts.
Meeting Colin
Colin was born in 2014 and started racing in early 2021 when our local indoor kart racing center, SyKart; allowed him to race. Colin was influenced by his older brother, Senna. Colin’s driving approach was very much the opposite of Senna though. Whereas Senna is a very analytical and patient driver, Colin was all about the, “let’s ‘send it’ and see what happen” approach. Although a clean racing technique, his ability to pass with this attitude made him a formidable opponent. Colin’s first partial season of the 2024 OSKCS Championship, landed him in 3rd place. 2025 put him in 4th place but again, without a full season. Colin hopes to bring more podiums in 2026!
